Day 140: Happy Birthday Grandpa Ken!

Andrew and I spent the evening at Brian and Jen's house along with her kids - Cameron, Caleb, and Colin, Paul and Deb, Ken and Karen, and Shannon.  Eric joined us later in the evening after he got off of work.  We had a big dinner with steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn, asparagus, salad, pasta salad, etc.  We introduced Grandpa Ken to the Wii and Jen's kids helped him make a Mii, named BooBoo.  Andrew was a great little boy all night - eating his food, playing with toys, and flirting with everyone. 

Andrew grabbed a gum pack off the desk while he was napping and proceeded to cuddle it throughout his nap.

He was very impressed by ceiling fan!

Everyone at dinner - me, Karen, Ken, Paul, Deb, Shannon, Jen, and Brian; Eric showed up an hour or two later.

Andrew was a pro at eating green beans!  His new car seat makes for a good high chair!

Day 139: Another Andrew Weekend!

Today I couldn't wait to get out of school!  We had no kids there and were filling out report card, I finished mine early the day but had to stay until 2:30.  Then I took off to have lunch with Eric and pack up my things to spend a weekend with my nephew, Andrew!  He had just woken up from a nap when I got home so we were ready to go!  Andrew and I went to Hobby Lobby to get some final materials for our confirmation/baptism invitations.  Then we came home and played for the evening.  I gave him a bath and then called him "Bieber Baby" for the rest of the night because of how his hair ended up.

Eric came out to Olathe after he got out of work and we got to play for a bit before putting Andrew to bed.  Unfortunately, Andrew woke up having an asthma attack, or something similar, only an hour after going to sleep.  We were up with him and the nebulizer for another hour before he was able to catch his breath and get back to sleep. Yuck!

Day 138: Harry Potter's GalleLoan$

Eric and I had a really good laugh at the end of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.  We've got one more movie left in the series before the newest movie comes out in 2 weeks!  At the end of tonight's movie there was a series of shots of a newspaper - and in that newspaper was an ad for wizarding loans!

Day 137: No More Office!

Tonight, Eric and I watched the last episode of The Office until the current season comes out on Netflix, sad day!  Then we watched some episodes of 30 Rock, and enjoyed being around the house.  Mystic was her usually cuddly self on the couches with us, but Addy pouted on the dresser all night long! But her pouting was awfully cute!

Day 136: Voting

Today Eric and I had one of our typical separated days - I worked and did some housework, he went to the gym and his night classes.  BUT - we both made time to vote!  I hope you voted today!

Day 135: Crazy Addy

Until we have kids, Eric and I are definitely crazy cat people!  Tonight he was playing with Addy and her wire toy, which has been her favorite toy for over 2 years now.She got it caught around her middle, which causes some fun games, and I ended up catching a really funny picture of her attacking.

Day 134: Halloween Weekend Part 2

After last nights events, Eric was happy to sleep in until he had to go to work.  I ended up getting up early to go to confirmation class and church.  I hung out around Mom and Alan's house with Mom, Kris, Ashley, and Andrew for the rest of the afternoon.


Mom and I went to the Dave Ramsey class where we learned about saving money through bargaining.  AND Paul cut up one of his credit cards!  Hooray!


After class, Mom and I met Kris, Ashley, and Andrew at Todd & Kath's house.  We joined them and their daughter Belle, while their son, Zach, stayed home to watch football and give out candy.  Andrew's first Halloween was a great success.  People at the houses loved him and he did a good job grabbing candy out of the bowls.


After I got home from trick-or-treating, Eric and I shared some candy and had Subway for dinner while he watched TV and I worked on a school project.  Goodnight!
