Eric and I were detoured on our way home because of an accident right off of our exit. There was a rollover accident and we were able to see the clean up from the field next to our house. The tow truck pulled it upright using chains.
Today I am unveiling my brand new blog! My mom noticed a trend of cooking and money saving in our marriage blog and suggested that I write a budget cookbook. So after only a week or so of planning and preparing, I present to you, Budget Cooking for Couples! I plan to update it twice a week with a new recipe, ranging from breakfast to dinner, snacks and dessert. Please comment on the recipes after you've made them with your comments and any suggestions that you have for making them better. You can also comment to make requests for recipes that you'd like to see featured!
Today was a flip flop of yesterday - healthwise. My fever is gone and I'm feeling fine, but Eric spent the first half of the day rather hungover. We spent the morning and afternoon packing and organizing things to take to storage and things to sell at a garage sale or donate. We rented a 5x10' storage unit and it's packed to the ceiling about 3 feet deep. Eric joked that I should have said to the rental guy "5 by 10 by whaaaat?"

We've also watched episodes of Drawn Together, The Proposal, and now we're watching Drop Dead Fred. Today we had a talk about how we're movie people and he would call it a hobby. Netflix is really a great investment for us, $8 per month for tons of TV and movies. Sure, we don't get to choose from 300 channels and get to watch current shows, but we're also saving $92 month!
